1. Not a therapy or clinical service
- Lynn helps guide the matching process.
- LynnMatch and Lynn do not provide therapy, counselling, psychotherapy, diagnosis, treatment, medical advice, legal advice, emergency support, or crisis care. Any counselling, therapy, or related support is provided directly by the counsellor or therapist, not by LynnMatch.
- Matching explanations are based on information provided and available profile data.
2. No crisis support
- If you are in immediate danger or experiencing a mental health emergency, contact emergency services or your local crisis line immediately.
3. No guaranteed outcome
- A suggested match, shortlist, or matching explanation is not a guarantee of suitability, availability, acceptance, insurance eligibility, or outcome.
- Clients should make their own decision about whether to contact or work with a counsellor or therapist and should discuss suitability directly with them.
4. Professional responsibility
- Counsellors and therapists remain responsible for their own professional practice, ethics, registration, insurance, safeguarding duties, suitability decisions, and client communications. Specific professional titles (such as Counsellor, Psychotherapist, Clinical Psychologist, LPC, LCSW, LMFT) shown on a profile are entered and maintained by the practitioner.
